First and foremost, let me tell ya'll how much I am in love with steaks! I literally can eat steaks throughout my whole, entire life. In fact, I actually judge a restaurant by the way they get their steaks done. If their steaks are cooked or grilled perfectly, I am safe to assume that everything done in that restaurant's kitchen is amazing. And I'm always right! (Hehe.)
I had my lunch with a friend over at Aston's, in JCube. It was crowded at the time we came, but we got our seats quite fast. However, I don't really like how the ordering systems work here. I don't know, I prefer sitting down, looking through the menu and when I'm done, I'll just call the waiter over to give my food orders. But here, we have to do all the orderings and payment at the counter first, then have our seats. But it's okay, I don't mind. I am not really that demanding, I promise.
I also didn't like how the restaurant doesn't take reservations. I love doing reservations! I love coming to a place knowing that there's a table prepared for me. Hence, I was a little disappointed that only walk-ins are allowed.
It didn't take long for my food to come. And when it came, I was literally having tears of joy. It was the most amazing, stunning steak I had ever seen in my whole entire life. Okay, I'm kidding but still! The steaks looks magnificent. I ordered for a medium rare, cause that's how I like my steaks done. And when I cut the steak through, the juice (and blood) flows out perfectly. They got the done-ness right, and I was so impressed.
I am safe to say that this restaurant serves great steaks!
Everything was incredibly delicious! The Mac & Cheese was amazing, the grilled chicken was cooked with finesse. It's like having a meal in the heavens. (Maybe?)
Food: 8/10
Ambience: 7/10
Service:5/10
I totally would recommend this to everyone and if you've tried it, tell me all about it!
But for muslims, this place isn't certified halal.
Love, Ally.
